Annual Workshop (2010): Challenges and Solutions at the Northern Border

The National Center for Border Security and Immigration (BORDERS) at the University of Arizona will hold its Second Annual Workshop on "Challenges and Solutions at the Northern Border - 2010" on May 26, 2010 in conjunction with ISI 10 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

This event will bring together researchers, end-users and government officials from the United States and Canada with an interest in the border security and immigration concerns impacting both nations. The goals are to facilitate discussion between academics, policy makers and stakeholders on U.S. - Canadian border challenges; develop a common understanding of these issues; and offer specific solutions based on scientific research.

BORDERS is a university consortium funded by the United States Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate. Partners include:
